Trigonometry Lab
Explore the unit circle and trigonometric functions y = A·sin(ωx+φ)+k with live sliders for amplitude, period and phase.
About
Explore trigonometric functions and the unit circle. Inputs: `func` ("sin" | "cos" | "tan"), `A` (amplitude), `omega` (angular frequency), `phi` (phase), `k` (vertical shift) and `unit` ("rad" or "deg"). Returns the equation y = A·f(ωx+φ)+k and its features (amplitude, period, phase shift, range). Use this for teaching trigonometry, periodic functions and graph transformations.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
func | sin | cos | tan | Trigonometric function. (default: "sin") |
A | number | Amplitude. (default: 1) |
omega | number | Angular frequency ω. (default: 1) |
phi | number | Phase φ. (default: 0) |
k | number | Vertical shift k. (default: 0) |
unit | rad | deg | Angle unit. (default: "rad") |
locale | en | zh | UI language for the rendered card. (default: "en") |
Examples
- Show y = 2 sin(3x) and its period.
- Explain how the unit circle relates to the sine curve.
