Geometry Lab
Drag triangles, quadrilaterals and circles to explore sides, angles, area and the Pythagorean / sine / cosine theorems.
About
Interactive plane geometry. Inputs: `shape` ("triangle" | "quadrilateral" | "circle"), optional `points` (array of [x,y] vertices for triangle/quadrilateral) and `radius` (for circle). Returns side lengths, angles, perimeter, area and, for triangles, right/isosceles/equilateral flags plus angle-sum, Pythagorean and law-of-sines/cosines checks. Use for middle-school geometry teaching.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
shape | triangle | quadrilateral | circle | Shape to draw. (default: "triangle") |
points | array[] | Vertices as [[x,y], ...] (triangle: 3 points, quadrilateral: 4 points). |
radius | number | Circle radius. (default: 3) |
locale | en | zh | UI language for the rendered card. (default: "en") |
Examples
- Draw a 3-4-5 right triangle and verify the Pythagorean theorem.
- Compare the area and circumference of circles with r=2 and r=3.
